It seems that you are as big as a fan of Mr. Phelps as we are here at MPF as he has truly changed the definition of what it means not only to be an Olympian but an American.

To be quite clear, MPF was created as a “foundation” or a home “base” where fans, like yourself, can come to share, chat, research, debate, contribute, and connect with one another on the past, present and future surrounding, who some are considering to be the greatest hero in history, Michael Phelps.

It wasn’t until after MPF was created that we heard that Michael Phelps was, in fact, going to establish a new swimming foundation.

"The pursuit of a dream that founded a vision". That vision is to open a center, with his own $1,000,000.00 bonus, to educate children on how to live healthy active lives and provides a methodology that empowers children to make their dreams a reality. Proof of why people are saying that Michael Phelps is the greatest hero in history.

Therefore, we feel we need to state that “www.michaelphelpsfoundation.com  (MPF) has no affiliation with the new swimming foundation that was announced by Michael Phelps on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 and that www.michaelphelpsfoundation.com  (MPF) is not and has never claimed to be a charitable institution or in affiliation with  Michael Phelps”.

However, given that the new Michael Phelps swimming foundation is currently under development, we at MPF will strive to keep you up-to-date on its development and progress.
